Cookie Policy
What our website stores on your device, and why. In short: what is needed to remember your choices, plus Google Analytics only if you accept it.

Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of information that a website stores in your browser.
Shanghai Niuou Tourism Consulting Co.,Ltd keeps this to a minimum: our website uses no advertising or tracking cookies, and uses Google Analytics only if you accept it in our cookie banner.
1. Necessary items (always on)
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, ours): remembers the language you choose with the EN / IT / FR switcher so the site opens in that language when you return. It is deleted when you close your browser.
- silkstar_cookie_consent (local storage, ours): remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask again on every page. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
- silkstar_discount_popup_dismissed (local storage, ours): remembers that you closed or completed the discount pop-up so it does not appear again. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
These are strictly necessary to provide the feature you use or a preference you set, so they are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules. They do not identify you and are not used for marketing or measuring visits.
2. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use our site: which pages are visited, how people arrive (for example from a search engine), approximate location (city/country), device and browser, and actions such as sending an enquiry or clicking our WhatsApp button. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses, advertising features are switched off, and we do not combine this data with your name or email. Google keeps the event data for 2 months; aggregated reports are kept longer. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
- _ga (cookie, Google Analytics): distinguishes one visitor from another with a random ID. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_8JT9S8KZZV (cookie, Google Analytics): keeps track of your current visit. Expires after 2 years.
If you click “Reject”, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and these cookies are not set.
3. Changing your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page to accept or reject analytics cookies again. If you withdraw your consent, we stop loading Google Analytics and delete its cookies from your browser. Withdrawing does not affect the measurement done before.
4. Language selection by country
The first time you open the site we choose a language from the country of your IP address (Italian for Italy, French for France, English elsewhere). This happens on the server and nothing is stored on your device for it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Other third parties
Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so visitors do not make requests to Google Fonts. We do not embed videos, maps or social feeds. Links to WhatsApp and to our social media profiles are ordinary links: once you click one, you leave our website and that service’s own policies apply.
6. Managing what is stored
You can also delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. If you do, the site will not remember your language, your cookie choice or that you closed the pop-up, and the cookie banner will appear again.

If we add other non-essential technologies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
