What our website stores on your device, and why. In short: only what is needed to remember your language.

Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of information that a website stores in your browser.
Shanghai Niuou Tourism Consulting Co.,Ltd keeps this to a minimum: our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not load third-party trackers.
1. What we store on your device
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie, ours): remembers the language you choose with the EN / IT / FR switcher so the site opens in that language when you return. It is deleted when you close your browser.
- silkstar_discount_popup_dismissed (local storage, ours): remembers that you closed or completed the discount pop-up so it does not appear again. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
2. Why we do not ask for consent
Both items are strictly necessary to provide the feature you use or a preference you set, so they are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules. They do not identify you and are not used for marketing or measuring visits.
3. Language selection by country
The first time you open the site we choose a language from the country of your IP address (Italian for Italy, French for France, English elsewhere). This happens on the server and nothing is stored on your device for it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Third parties
Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so visitors do not make requests to Google Fonts. We do not embed videos, maps or social feeds. Links to WhatsApp and to our social media profiles are ordinary links: once you click one, you leave our website and that service’s own policies apply.
5. Managing what is stored
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. If you do, the site simply will not remember your language choice or that you closed the pop-up.
6. Changes
If we ever add analytics or other non-essential technologies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
